Relatives of passengers of the missing EgyptAir plane which was flying from Paris to Cairo on Wednesday with 66 people on board are reeling in pain while they wait at the airport for even the smallest of clues of what would have happened to flight MS804.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, the families narrated their anguish.
“We have no information. They said nothing during the press conference. They have not been able to tell people anything substantive and people could not understand. Some even collapsed,” said Ramy Mohamed, a relative of one of the passengers.
“She had just married for about seven months. I pray to God that the plane was hijacked rather than what we’ve heard so far but we have hope,” said Mervat Mounir, an aunt to one of the flight attendants.
Unfortunately their hopes were short- lived, recent news which came in early Friday is that The Egyptian army announced that they found debris and personal belongings of the passengers of the flight MS804
Investigations into what exactly transpired continue.
